Merin Rajadurai is currently senior advisor for multilateral affairs & public-private partnerships for the U.S. State Department. Merin was most recently, since August 2021, coordinating private sector assistance towards the Afghanistan/Russia-Ukraine crises.
His primary civil service portfolio is advancing prosperity through work building initiatives with the private sector that includes global investment strategy through U.S. missions around the world and alliances; strengthening the value of innovation for American companies; and, creation of opportunities to complement USG foreign policy priorities through the nexus of subnational government, business, philanthropy, academia, and civil society-at-large. Merin additionally held U.S. State Department positions for policy planning, human rights, consular affairs, science and technology, united nations, international business, including assignments on behalf of six Secretaries of State and the White House.
